Always wanted to try out Roller Derby? Then come to our Open Day on the 17th of June from 4pm until 8pm. We will offer you a glimpse into our Newbie Training, the rules of Roller Derby, as well as snacks and a surprise. This offer is open for everyone regardless of age, gender, or how sporty you are. Our Junior Trainers will also be there and would be happy to receive the youngest amongst you.

You are at least 18 and you are excited about roller derby, a sport which combines strength, endurance, strategy and team spirit? Sign up now and become a part of Bear City Roller Derby. If you are interested in skating and roller derby, but not sure if you want to play actively you can become a referee or a non skating official (NSO). Only our referees and NSOs make a real roller derby game possible.
You don’t know how to skate or don’t the rules? No problem, we teach you everything you need to know! Every six month a new beginner course is starting, at the beginning and the middle of the year.

Berlin Rolls – Roller Derby in Berlin

The wait is over, there will be Roller Derby in Berlin again!
Together with Berlin Rollergirls we are looking forward to rock the Poststadion with you.
The date for our first joint derby event is set. We are ready! Are you as well? Then join us on June, 10th at the Poststadion.

Für den kommenden Doubleheader gibt es Neuigkeiten der ganz besonderen Art.
Leider mussten die Stuttgart Valley Girls krankheitsbedingt das Bundesliga-Spiel gegen Bear City Roller Derby absagen.
Aber wir lassen uns nicht lumpen und spielen ganz einfach nach dem Motto Pommes-Schranke.
Team Rot trifft auf Team Weiß. …Hmmm lecker!!!
Du willst Teil von Team Rot oder Weiß sein? Dann schnapp dir deine Skates, ein rotes und weißes Shirt und komm am Samstag nach Berlin ins Poststadion.

Berlin rolls – Berlin Rollergirls and Bear City Roller Derby Double Header

We are pleased to invite you to a double header of a special kind this Bundesliga derby season:

In the first game, the Berlin Rollergirls compete against the Bashlorettes from Kassel. In the second game, Bear City Roller Derby will play the Stuttgart Valley Rollergirls. These bouts will be played outdoors on the covered roller sports facility of Poststadion near the main train station.

Von der Bär-Stadt in die Bier-Stadt und wieder zurück

Vom 3.-5. Juni war unser A-Team in den USA, um an dem Midwest BrewHaHa-Turnier teilzunehmen. Stattgefunden hat das Turnier in Milwaukee. Die Stadt, die den Spitznamen Brew-City trägt. Dank einiger Großbrauereien war Milwaukee im 19. Jahrhundert als amerikanische Bierhauptstadt bekannt. Dreimal dürft ihr raten, wer das Bier damals nach Milwaukee gebracht hat …“The Germans“!
